International Year of Forest 2011

Dear My Landy Automobile Sports Club,

Thank you for your request to use the International Year of Forests 2011 logo, and for sending us the signed copy of the liability waiver form. Your request has been approved, and the high resolution graphics files of the logo file is enclosed in Adobe Illustrator format.  If your organisation’s graphic designer has any further requirements, please let us know.

As a reminder of what is contained in the waiver agreement, please note that the International Year of Forests is a celebration for everyone and logo usage follows the theme “Forests for People” and the celebration of that theme. The logo is not to be used in any for-profit activity in any manner. Additionally, permission/usage of the logo does not represent an endorsement from the United Nations for an organization. Rather, it serves as a reminder of the opportunity presented by the International Year of Forests to educate everyone about the many functions of forests and to celebrate their contributions.

Once your publications and other materials using the International Year of Forests 2011 logo have been produced, please let us know so that we can showcase them if we can do so, including through the International Year website (www.un.org/forests).

Additionally, please inform us of any events you are planning regarding the International Year of Forests 2011 so we can list them on our calendar on the official website.
